WealthCalm is a platform of Montcalm TCR LLC ("Montcalm," "we," "us"), an SEC-registered investment adviser based in San Francisco. This policy explains what WealthCalm collects, why, and what we do with it. It applies to every WealthCalm page.
What we collect
- What you tell us. Your answers to the WealthCalm surveys, including anything you write in your own words, and your name and email if you give them.
- Gathering registrations and feedback you submit.
- Portfolio information, only if you choose to connect it. If you are a Montcalm client and connect your Addepar account, WealthCalm reads your portfolio information, read only, to show it in your Room. We never move, change, or write anything in Addepar.
- Basic technical information, such as how you arrived, your browser and device type, and the pages you visit, used to keep the site working.
How we use it
- To reflect your answers back to you in Your Room.
- So Holly Ruxin and the Montcalm team can prepare for a conversation with you and understand what matters to you.
- To show your own portfolio in Your Room, if you connect it.
- To improve WealthCalm, using totals across many people rather than individual answers.
Cookies and tracking
WealthCalm uses only the cookies needed to run the site, such as keeping you signed in and completing a secure connection. We do not track you across other websites, and we do not allow other companies to collect information about you on WealthCalm for that purpose. Because we don't do that kind of tracking, WealthCalm treats every visitor the same whether or not their browser sends a Do Not Track signal.
What we don't do
- We do not sell your information.
- We do not use your answers to train outside AI models.
- We do not share your individual answers outside Montcalm, except with service providers who help us run WealthCalm (such as hosting and database providers) under confidentiality obligations, or where the law requires it.
- Any totals we publish combine at least twelve people and include no names and none of your words.
Connecting Addepar
Connecting is your choice. Access is read only and limited to what your own Addepar login can see. Connection credentials are stored securely on our servers and never in your browser. You can disconnect at any time by writing to us, and we will delete the stored connection.
How we protect it
Information is encrypted in transit and stored in a secured database, with access limited to the Montcalm team and the people who maintain WealthCalm. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your information, we will tell you as the law requires.
How long we keep it
We keep your information while you have a relationship with Montcalm or until you ask us to delete it, and as long as Montcalm is required to keep records as a registered investment adviser.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to see, correct, or delete your information, or to disconnect Addepar, by writing to info@montcalmtcr.com. If you live in California, you have rights under California privacy law, including the right to know, delete, and correct your personal information, and not to be treated differently for using these rights. We do not sell or share personal information for advertising.
Montcalm clients
If you are a Montcalm advisory client, Montcalm's privacy notice for clients also applies to you and governs how Montcalm handles your financial information.
Age
WealthCalm is intended for adults 18 and over.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new effective date.
